The conference, held under the patronage of H.E. Dr. Rahma bint Ibrahim Al-Mahrouqi, Minister of Higher Education, Research, and Innovation, saw a distinguished group of entrepreneurs and innovators from across the region. Al-Barwani delivered an impactful opening speech, emphasizing the importance of digital leadership and its role in advancing Oman’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. She also led an insightful session on artificial intelligence, discussing its transformative potential for businesses in both the public and private sectors.
Shinuna Al-Barwani is expanding Metro Muscat as Oman’s largest e-commerce network. She launched Metro Zone Academy to equip businesses with digital skills in e-commerce, AI, and marketing.
A major outcome of the event was the signing of an agreement to establish the Metro Zone Academy in collaboration with entrepreneurial platforms in Jordan and Oman. This initiative will equip entrepreneurs with essential digital skills in e-commerce, AI, and digital marketing, bridging the gap between traditional businesses and modern technology.
